A new show about two Russian spies living in America with a family, but struggles against counter intelligence. So far, I find the pilot episode to be very intriguing and I anticipate it to be as witty as the other show I follow called White Collar. You can see how literally down and dirty agents have to be just to get a hold of precious information on a lead. There are awkward moments such as the mall scene that get me wondering on how it progresses the story, but perhaps it is essential for character development in the bad ass fight scene that comes later. Spies in general intrigue me, because they are pretty much actors that are acting not only to serve their country but to save their own life. Defecting from your country of allegiance is usually a death sentence, and whether it is performing degrading tasks to burning crosses for Hitler who you are spying on, it is best not to get caught by raising suspicion. I love how they portrayed the Russian woman as being loyal and very strong for Soviet Mother Russia, while her male counterpart started to grow weak. I highly recommend this, and I am anxious to keep up with this series progression.
