This trailer has a great musical score! Loving it! Magneto said, "You'll need me as well. Side-by-side to end this war. Before it ever begins." I have been recently reading Sun Tzu's Art of War and the line by Magneto in the trailer definitely made my day! The war should be fought swiftly to avoid economic losses: "No long war ever profited any country: 100 victories in 100 battles is simply ridiculous. Anyone who excels in defeating his enemies triumphs before his enemy's threats become real" -Sun Tzu Oh boy! It truly has been awhile since I posted anything. I'm taking more serious film classes this semester so I get to have the opportunity working inside the studio for film production, and some amazing acting. Professor Gilyard (He keeps telling me to call him Clarence...), my acting mentor, has encouraged me to really expand my creative thinking with a process he likes to call "method of madness." I'm writing too much in my journal with many things that are personal. There is so much I have never experienced, and when I was given the opportunity to play the role as a director...I almost let fear consume me. I'm scared, because I am afraid of failing. So in turn, I have decided to be like Robocop and programming myself with discipline so I could be prepared for anything! (I know! I could be half robot already...) Have not even finished Firefly just yet, and am still amazed by his Marvel's The Avengers. I certainly must stay tune on Tuesdays to see his new series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Luke Cage is in it!!) Lana Del Rey's new song Young And Beautiful the full version will be released around April 23. The preview of the song in the trailer makes me anxious... When I saw this trailer in the theaters, my eyes could not blink. Freaking huge robots and monsters that look so intense. It sort of reminds me of Evangelion, but of course it won't be as great. Luckily playing in Vegas, but only in one theater at Village Square. Hopefully I find some people to watch it with me soon, because I have a feeling they will remove this from theaters due to it not being as popular as Twilight... I am beginning to find a new respect for the actor Denis Lavant. He is the sort of actor who fits among many roles, but clearly defines a film with his weird persona. If I had to make an analogy between the relationship of Leos Carax to Denis Lavant, it would be Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. Carax's film The Lovers on the Bridge was so incredibly weird, and awesome that I expect a similar performance that will satisfy my weirdness crave.
