A costume idea from Adventure Time makes me look like a serial killer holding a pair of scissors...SO AWESOME! Using a ruler and an actual blade made my second one come out much more proportionate and neat. How spiffy. Yay! I must make this eventually! No rush when there are no conventions for me to look forward to anytime soon. Yes!!! Classic helmet is so cool! The X-Men First Class helmet is so shiny. :) Found this punch machine at an arcade, and just had to test my might! Guess who has a punching power level that is over 9000!? :) I honestly never thought I hit that hard, just fast. My friend was getting really frustrated at first when his punch score was 4000, but I showed him the technique and he improved. Never give up!
Definitely was my favorite on the show, and she sang two songs I loved spectacularly. (Iris by Goo Goo Dolls and Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol). She is only 13, and has a great deal of potential. I can sense so much passion in her soul through her eyes. Such a shame! Simon will always be the one everyone hates on the show, but him telling Beatrice that it's not the right time makes him look like an incompetent judge for the show. Beatrice's age does not affect her ability to sing any better than anyone else in the competition. Next time, words of encouragement might be a favorable alternative to his future criticism. Luckily playing in Vegas, but only in one theater at Village Square. Hopefully I find some people to watch it with me soon, because I have a feeling they will remove this from theaters due to it not being as popular as Twilight... I am beginning to find a new respect for the actor Denis Lavant. He is the sort of actor who fits among many roles, but clearly defines a film with his weird persona. If I had to make an analogy between the relationship of Leos Carax to Denis Lavant, it would be Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. Carax's film The Lovers on the Bridge was so incredibly weird, and awesome that I expect a similar performance that will satisfy my weirdness crave.
The lucky people in Los Angeles have the opportunity of visiting the creator of Adventure Time at a Gamestop for the launch party of the game tomorrow. What I would give to have him do some quick LSP impressions in person... I almost died laughing when he mentions that he didn't mean to do Marilyn Monroe. HAHA!
