Absolutely chilling how the mood completely changes in the middle of the song. Much like a children's story about escapism where the character comes to the realization of some dark truth during a logical assessment of a dangerous situation. Happy Birthday Maurice Sendak! I am quite speechless, and disappointed to hear that Firefly will not be back up. I also would rather not have anyone else write this project so that is that. Despite this, he shed some light on future projects he is interested in. People have no idea how happy I am that he wrote Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch into Avengers 2. His interest in Batman excites me, and I would recommend he be the sole proprietor of the cinematic Batman Beyond. Especially, since it is fresh and carries many Marvelesque elements. (Have to make up words nowadays...) It is quite surprising to me that Joss Whedon is interested in creating a ballet. I think that is amazing, and I would totally pay to see a live ballet performance created by him if I am in town. Another article with Joss Whedon's thought and planning for Avengers 2 is quite a relief. I am shocked to hear that he is overwhelmed with having to be up to par with Shane Black's Iron Man 3. It was amazing, but I am sure he is capable of achieving a better movie with the tools at his disposal. The biggest relief is that Whedon has stressed the importance of keeping Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, because he IS Iron Man. I am much fascinated by the game Killswitch for some reason. Even if it is fake, just the concept itself piqued my interest. This survival horror game takes place in a coal mine. Interestingly, I have a screenplay that makes this plot feel very familiar but I honestly have never heard of this game until now. The description of people getting punished by being stabbed in the joints is shocking to me. The ending of reaching a white light just spooks the heck out of me, but maybe people around the world commonly get the same dreams. The story of this game inspires me to re-visit a certain screenplay. “Killswitch was designed to be a unique playing experience: Like reality, it is unrepeatable, unretrievable, and illogical. One might even say ineffable. Death is final; death is complete. The fates of Porto and her beloved Ghast are as unknowable as our own. It is the desire of the Karvina Corporation that this be so, and we ask our customers to respect that desire. Rest assured Karvina will continue to provide the highest quality of games to the West, and that Killswitch is merely one among our many wonders.” This fucking guy comes out of nowhere, kicks our asses. I definitely cannot wait for the sequel...I assure you!
I have a very close friend who has a dream of becoming a professional drummer, and I encourage him all the time to pursue that passion. He showed me this video, and is excited to do a collaboration with me for so many drum & film ideas once we get all our equipment. |
